FIFA 20 Dribbling Dummy the Ball and Open the Gate Tips

There are a few things you can do to ensure you use this brilliant piece of skill to your advantage. Hold the left stick in the direction you're going to be running after the ball has gone through your legs to ensure a quick turn;



1. Make sure you release the sprint button before the ball arrives and then as soon as the motion to dummy the ball occurs, get that sprint button pressed back down as soon as you can;

2. Try to do it when the opposition are diving in or reading your passes to other directions;

3. Don't do it if a defender is too far away from your player;

4. Don't do it when your player is off balance;

5. Don't do it all the time as it will be easy to read your play.

Use these tips, combined with our skill move tips and diagrams, and you'll be fooling defenders plenty of times.

Tips:
To dummy a pass, you MUST not hold any direction on the left stick until the ball has passed through your player's legs. Very useful for missing a man out or when a player is charging in to pressure your passes.
