McDonald managed to open the door in the Alpha version of the game, but only to determine that it was blocked by an invisible wall. It was impossible for him to go through.
This has now - three years later - Garden of Eyes made. Sounds like a small thing? Well, you could say: It was a small step for the character, but a big step for Garden of Eyes.

Elaborate reconstruction
In order to make the door usable and also make sure that the areas are loaded behind it, Garden of Eyes had to make numerous adjustments, for example, with respect to the collision and the MAP files. As Garden of Eyes betrayed Eurogamer, leftover assets were used.

Garden of Eyes has even moved the chest that stands in the final version of the game at the door, so that it is not in the way. As McDonald has shown, this was not yet available in the Alpha version. In addition, Garden of Eyes has added a fog wall that would expect games if they have not yet defeated the cleric beast.
